Trying my best to give some tunings for the Diskant-Waldzither.

The list contains 3 alternative tunings. Some of them should work with regular string sets, while others might require special gauges.

It's by no means a complete list of course and I'd love to hear of any other great tunings you've come across. Post a message at The message board and I'll pick it up there.

Standard tuning(s)

Standardg d' g' b' d''Strings tuned in a G major chord.

      Open chords tuning(s)

AA e' a' c#'' e''Strings tuned in an A major chord one note above standard tuning. I think this tuning was used, but to be honest I'm not absolutely sure.

          Other instruments tuning(s)

Mandola-mandolinc g d' a' e''A very interesting alternative for a mandolin player. Effectively you get a mandola and a mandolin combined in one instrument!
