 | This Bouzouki has a Solid Spruce top with solid Maple back and sides, and a Maple neck. It features a Sonokelin Fingerboard and Rosewood bridge. Diecast tuners. I'm not sure if this is yet another brand for the "generic Korean-built Irish bouzouki," but if it is, it's a real bargain at that price. If it isn't - it's still a bargain. Ariana - and it's mother brand Aria - has a well-deserved reputation for coming up with quality instruments at bidget prices, and there's no reason to believe that this isn't the case here too.

 | A Fender bouzouki??? It's not that surprising really. Fender's been filling up the lower end of their acoustic range with Korean "generic brand" instruments for a while so in a way it's only natural they've also looked at those affordable Celtic style stringed instrument they build over there.Basically this is an Irish bouzouki similar to - and built at the same factory as - the ones sold under dozens of different brand names, that is an affordable good-value-for money instrument with a solid spruce top, maple body and rosewood fretboard. There are two very important differences though: Fender's model has a built-in (not very good) pickup and (apparently) a considerably shallower body. In effect that means this is an electric instrument and you can't expect nearly as much acoustic sound from it as from the others. - Available from: Music123
